I always wanted to play but I never learned to skate well enough to do anyting other than stay upright. Here in England it's quite hard to find places to skate, the weather is never really cold enough outside. Still I learned to cycle instead. I know it's not the same :D but I like that feeling of whizzing around.
I took Sammy and his brother ice-skating for the first time last week. I was terrified Sammy would fall and break something but I just held my breath silently and watched him have the time of his life. I think they will be back to the rink on a very regular basis. Now Sammy is off treatment, I'm trying to let him just live. I also started a new bog...more positive...for myself. I will still update Supermansammyz from time to time :)

Love this! I'm so glad that people are standing up for the rights of LGBT people in all walks of life. Even hockey players! :)
